Bubble Gum
Archival Pigment Print

Notes from the Artist
Bubble Gum is a botanical portrait with absolutely no interest in behaving like one. A flower grows oversized ears, blows a perfect pink bubble, and is held upright by a tattooed hand that feels equal parts protective and confrontational. Equal measures elegant and absurd, the piece plays with the idea that beauty doesn't have to be precious to be worth admiring. Like the rest of the Nepo Nature collection, it blurs the line between nature and portraiture, inviting ordinary botanicals to adopt oversized personalities—and reminding us that the most memorable characters are usually the ones who refuse to fit in.
