Bubble Gum
Archival Pigment Print
Notes from the Artist
Bubble Gum is a botanical portrait with absolutely no interest in behaving like one. A flower grows oversized ears, blows a perfect pink bubble, and is held upright by a tattooed hand that feels equal parts protective and confrontational. Equal measures elegant and absurd, the piece plays with the idea that beauty doesn't have to be precious to be worth admiring.
